National Coalition Building Institute of Rochester, NY is pleased to present

This workshop is based on a powerful film entitled “Last Chance for Eden”, created by StirFry Seminars and Consulting.  The movie portrays nine people at a weekend retreat focusing on racism and sexism.  Men and women participants represent Native, Latinx, White and Black/African heritages.  Through 24 filmed vignettes, we witness how their different identities affect how they relate to each other.

NCBI master facilitators will guide our workshop discussion to relate the film to our own lived experiences.  It is possible to move from confrontation to dialogue, reflection and insight.  Prepare for a day of learning as we face assumptions, beliefs and biases and open ourselves to larger truths.
